Gurukula Utsav–2026 was successfully held from 12th to 14th April 2026 at the serene premises of Ramhari Das Odissi Gurukula. This three-day cultural celebration stood as a vibrant platform for showcasing the richness and diversity of Indian performing arts, deeply rooted in the Guru–Shishya parampara, and GURUKULA SAMMANA-2026 has been conferred to Guru Prof Mohini Mohan Pattanaik for his lifetime contribution towards Hindustani Flute in Odisha.

This year’s festival was uniquely curated with a wide range of categories, bringing together Classical, Folk, Tribal Arts, and Drama under one umbrella. The thoughtfully designed programme provided an inclusive stage for both established artists and emerging talents to present their artistry.
The Classical segment featured mesmerizing performances of Odissi Dance, Odissi Mardala, and Odissi Vocal, along with soulful presentations of Hindustani Flute and Santoor. These performances reflected the depth, discipline, and spiritual essence of Indian classical traditions.
Equally captivating were the Folk and Tribal art forms, which added vibrant colors and energy to the festival. Performances such as Dhuduki Nacha and Sambalpuri Dance enthralled the audience with their rhythmic vitality and cultural authenticity. The inclusion of Tribal Arts further enriched the diversity of the Gurukula Utsav-2026, highlighting indigenous traditions and expressions.
The Drama and entertainment segment brought a different dimension to the event, featuring engaging Dance Dramas and a lively Comedy Show, which provided both artistic storytelling and moments of joy and laughter.
Gurukula Utsav–2026 witnessed the gracious presence of eminent Gurus, respected guests, artists, and enthusiastic audiences. The collective participation and dedication of organizers, in-house supporters, media, and trustees ensured the grand success of the event.

The festival concluded on a note of fulfillment and gratitude, reaffirming the commitment of the Gurukula to preserve, promote, and celebrate the invaluable heritage of Indian art and culture across diverse forms.
